On Sunday, Bill Belichick and his New England Patriots play in the Super Bowl for the fifth time during Belichick's tenure as Head Coach. The Patriots have won three of those previous four Super Bowl appearances.
Belichick also was an assistant coach on two Super Bowl winning teams with the New York Giants.
Belichick has been coaching the Patriots since 2000 and is a three-time NFL Coach of the Year. He is the second longest tenured NFL Head Coach, behind the Philadelphia Eagles' Andy Reid.
Prior to his success with the Patriots, Belichick was the Head Coach of the Cleveland Browns from 1991-95. He did not have success there; his record was 36-44.
