"I
would like to thank you again for helping make our Annual Dinner
a success. Our Chamber members have continued to applaud our
speaker selection for this year's dinner.
I have had the opportunity to personally speak
with many of our attendees and several were using quotes from
your presentation. I must confess, that on the Saturday following
our dinner, I myself used a quote from your presentation while
giving the program to our local Civitan Club.
Your program offers an inspiring and thought
provocative message while keeping the audience entertained with
your mix of humorous sports stories. Your message gives each
of us an opportunity to think how we operate our basic business
and personal skills on a daily basis.
Thank you again for your enjoyable presentation.
You sincerely made our audience feel as if you had always known
them. I look forward to seeing you again this summer at Victory
Field."

Hamilton, Executive Director,
Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce
"My
thanks to you for delivering an outstanding keynote address
at our Indiana Library Federation District 6 Conference in New
Albany, Indiana last week.
Your talk on "Reaching Your Full Potential"
was fascinating, even to people who claim not to be sports fans.
Everything was first rate: the stories you told, their relevance
to our work in the library, your delivery and comfortable style.
I will personally recommend you to any group
looking for a dynamic, personable, truly interesting speaker.
The Indians are lucky to have you as their broadcaster. And
we were lucky to have you to kick off our conference.
I look forward to visiting you at Victory
Field and to working with you again."
Michael
J. Kruse, Director, Batesville Memorial Library,
ILF District 6 Chair
"P.S.
My wife gladly takes credit for having suggested you to
me after hearing you at a Chamber of Commerce program in Columbus,
Indiana earlier this year."
I
want to thank you for your sales seminar presentation. I wish
I could have sent the entire sales force to listen to you.
You are very enthusiastic and kept on charging
with different effective closing techniques. I too have read a
lot of sales books, but I liked your comments particularly on
thank you notes, using the work investment vs. cost or price,
and always for something a little extra to differentiate oneself
from the competition.
You are 100% correct on regarding the salesman
fearing rejection and the customer fearing they will make a mistake.
Right on target!!!

Howards
speech hits at the core of responsibilities of good leadership.
It is energizing and inspirational as well.

"On
behalf of the American Red Cross, Planning Committee of the North
Central Customer Business Unit, heartfelt thanks and appreciation
for your recent appearances at our Donor Service Conference.
Your comments were motivational and inspiring.
You gave 110% to the audience and it was very much appreciated.
With the recent tragedy of September 11, the
staff of the ten regional blood centers need to feel a sense of
being respected for what they've done to make a difference...
and you helped make that a reality. Thanks again for your timely
comments and wonderful stories.
Susan
B. Stuttle, Director, Donor Services,
North Central Customer Business Unit
"I
write to once again offer my congratulations on your selection
as the 2002 Indiana Sportscaster of the Year by the Indiana Sportswriters
& Sportscasters Association. This is an honor that is certainly
well deserved and long overdue.
Howard, it is individuals like you that so significantly
contribute to making professional baseball at the minor league
level what it is. Your history with the Indianapolis club through
good times and bad is truly remarkable. We all benefit from your
expertise and professionalism.
I don't know what it is about Indianapolis Indians
baseball, but the three individuals that top my list of 'memory
wizards' leads off with you, followed by Max and then Cal. Your
ability to recall names and situations on a moment's notice blows
me away. I always enjoy our conversations and listening to your
interviews."
Randy
A. Mobley, President,
International League of Professional Baseball Clubs
"To
Whom It May Concern:
Howard Kellman spoke for the King's Daughters'
Hospital and Health Services Volunteer Recognition Luncheon...
He no only was an excellent speaker; he was a real person. He
was delightful, positive, and contagious. The favorable comments
both in person and by phone about him after the vent were overwhelming...
Volunteers who average age 65 do not say things they do not mean.
With his busy schedule, Howard could have come
just to speak then he could have left. Madison is two hours plus
away from Indianapolis. However, Howard wanted to be present for
the entire event. He was interested in our program and what the
volunteers do. I appreciated that about him.
Howard made the statement in his speech, 'When
one speaks, he or she is performing, but when one listens, he
or she is building relationships.' He was an excellent listener
as well as a fabulous speaker. Howard built relationships with
our people that day."

and delivery were done very well. You held everyones attention
throughout your presentation. It was uplifting and motivating.
Success stories tied into sports are fun to
listen to and an interesting way to deliver a very positive message.

"Again,
we really enjoyed your presentation last Saturday. Some of the
comments we received back from the participants as part of an
exit interview included: 'humorous', "entertaining', 'motivational',
'got us started on the right track for the day's event', and 'would
love to have our full staff hear Howard'.
As you can tell, your speech was well timed
and greatly enjoyed. I look forward to working with you again."

Jennings, Director of Human Resources,

"As
a recipient of the Rochester Chamber of Commerce Community Service
Award, I want to thank you for the inspiring speech which you
delivered to the Rochester Chamber... It is well when one as deeply
involved in sports as you can deliver a message which is applicable
to life in general and appreciated by all people. Your stories
are tremendous."
Robert
E. Peterson, Peterson & Waggoner, LLP
"I
wanted to drop you a note of thanks following your visit last
week. I greatly appreciated your flexibility and willingness to
accommodate our request for multiple presentations over your two
day stay. Each group that you spoke to seemed to very much enjoy
and benefit from what you had to say. I have heard many positive
comments."
